ABOUT CIRCO
Research colloquium is a program which were run to fulfil one of the components for Amalan Pendidikan Berimpak Tinggi (HIEPs) throughout Capstone Project. This program is giving out opportunities to all public and private institution students (IPTA and IPTS) to gain outcomes from the research which are related to communication, media, social science, entertainment industry and education from the presentation that will be uploaded online.
This program will help out participants from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris and also other higher education institution to explore and reinforce knowledge and also polish their skills in communication and research making. Moreover, this program may also help students to have better knowledge in research writing.

Dr. Sayar Ahmad Mir, a former Associate Professor.

Presently associated with Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora- Kashmir, having experience of 10 years of Mainstream Media and Mass Communication Practices. Dr. Mir is a photojournalist turned academician.

Major in new media and Visual Communication, and Minor in Development Communication.

He is an author of a book Pre and Post period of photojournalism in India.

Participants need to submit their abstracts for evaluation before they are allowed to present in Capstone International Research Colloquium 2022.

Please prepare your abstract using the following criterias:
The abstract generally consists of introduction, problem statement, research purpose, objective, research method, result and significance. The number of words must be between 150 and 250 words.
Keywords: List 5 to 6 keywords.

The abstract must be original, has not been presented or submitted to any other conferences, and has not been published in any journal, or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Otherwise the article will be automatically rejected. Organizer has the right to cancel any article for the journal that does not meet the submission guidelines with/without the Author and co-author(s) consent.

PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH STUDIES

Participants are to send in a virtual presentation video in MP4 format with HD resolution to the organizers.

The presentation video by the participants must be between 3 to 5 minutes with a standard quality of 1080p: 1920x1080 (16:9).

Participants can either use the Malay language or the English language only.

Individual participation with a supervisor.
-
Open to all IPTA/IPTS students and foreign students.

Participants have to present their research study in the form of a slide show according to their own creativity without background audio by ensuring that the audio of the presenter's voice and face are clearly visible while the presentation is running. Example video: https://youtu.be/4cWIyLICBlQ

Registration must be made to confirm participation.

Participants should dressed politely and formally while the presentation is conducted.

Participants need to upload their presentation video to the submission link provided by the organizer.

Participants must adhere to research ethics by not engaging in data falsification, plagiarism and misusing the work of other researchers without permission.
